How do I login to the TeloPortal?
Go to www.telovations.com, click Login, in the upper right side of the page and choose the TeloPortal button. Log into your account/phone.

 

What is my user name and password?
Your user name is your 10 digit telephone number.
Your password is listed within your Welcome Kit and is assigned to all phones until the user first logs into the Web or voice system. You will be asked to change your password upon first login.

 

How can I change my passwords?
You can change your password on the TeloPortal under Profile.

 

I forgot my password and can't login to either voice mail or the TeloPortal. How do I reset my password?
Your administrator can change your password for you.
Your password functions are listed within your profile. Your administrator can change your TeloPortal and voice portal passwords. Choose which password you want to update either Web or voice and enter the new password. You must select apply to save your new password. If you are updating both passwords, you must select apply after updating each password to save your change(s).

 

How do I add an administrator to my account?
Only an administrator can add/change an administrator login or password. The administrator should login to the system with their administrator login and password. Within the main profile page, the administrator link should be chosen and a user can be modified, added or deleted. If you make any updates you must select OK before exiting the page to save your changes.

 

How do I login to my voice portal to change my Auto Attendant greeting?
From your phone, dial the voice portal extension. Once you hear the voice portal greeting message, press the * key to interrupt the greeting. The Voice Portal will then ask you for your mailbox ID, re-enter the Voice Portal extension and press #. Then you will enter your six digit password and press #. The password is the six digit administrator password you were issued. At this time it will give you the option to change your Auto Attendant greeting. You can press 1 for the business hours greeting or 2 for you after hours greeting.

 

How can I create a Time Schedule for my Auto Attendant?
To create a time schedule in the administrator portal go to your profile page and select Time Schedule. Enter your hours of operation in the drop down menu. For example, your start day might be Monday so you would select Monday in the Start Day drop down field. Then you would select your start time. Let's say your start time is 9:00 am, so you would enter 9:00 in the Start Time field and select AM from the drop down field, etc. Complete the rest of your business hours in the following manner until you have reached the last day of the work week. Name the schedule and then select apply to submit it. Then go to your Auto Attendant page under the Services menu. Select the edit option on your Auto Attendant. Select the name of the schedule you saved from the Business Hours menu drop down menu and select OK.

 

What do I do if I get locked out of my voice mail?
Please contact your administrator to reset your password.

 

Where can I find star code features?
Click here for Star feature codes. They are also located on the TeloPortal under Utilities.

 

How do I access my bill?
Click here and then click on the Billing button. You will then be prompted for your login information. Click here for instructions.

 

Where do I find international rates?
Click here for international rates.

 

Why can't I make international calls?
Your administrator may have restricted access to international calling. Contact your administrator for specific details.

 

Who do I call when I have no dial tone on my phone?
Call Telovations Customer Support at 813-774-7370 option 1.

 

Why are my calls not ringing to my phone?
Be sure your call forwarding or remote office features are not turned on. Simultaneous ring can also cause your phone to not ring if the voice mail on the other phone picks up.

 

How can I correct my date/time on my phone?
Send an e-mail to customer support at support@telovations.com.

 

Who do I call when my internet connection is down?
If your internet is down, but your phones are working, please contact your internal IT department. If neither your internet nor phones are working contact Telovations Customer Support at 813-774-4370 option 1.

 

How do I change my Auto Attendant greeting?
Dial into your voice portal, press * and enter your voice portal extension. Enter your voice portal password. Your first option will be to change your Auto Attendant greeting. Follow the voice prompts.

 

Can I swap phones around in my office?
No, the phone numbers and extensions are programmed into the phone.

 

Can I move phones around in my office?
Yes, as long as you are able to connect to the Telovations Network.

 

How can we add a feature or line or change the extension on a phone?
E-mail support@telovations.com with a brief explanation of the Move, Add or Change you would like made. Please put MACD in the subject line. There will be a small fee for these types of changes.

 

Can I keep my numbers when I switch to Telovations?
Yes, you will be able to keep your numbers in most cases.

 

How do I install the Outlook toolbar?
The toolbar can be found at here. First the toolbar needs to be installed. You can install it for use with Outlook, Internet Explorer or both. An installation Quick Reference Guide can be found here. your username is your Telovations assigned phone number and your password would have been supplied in your welcome kit.

IP FAQs

What do I need to change?
You will need to change your router IP address and DNS information with your service provider (if applicable).

 

What will Telovations be changing?
Telovations will change all of your voice related IP address.

 

When will this change take place?
The change will take place on the evening (after normal business hours) of the day specified on your notification letter.

 

What happens if I don’t change my IP addresses?
Your data will not be available if your IP addresses are not changed.

 

How do I change my IP address on my router?
Your IT department or contractor will be able to change your IP addresses on your router.

 

How do I change my domain name look-up?
Contact your service provider.
