With more than 100 years experience in the telecommunications industry, the Telovations management team understands what it takes to be successful.

Rick Schonbrun — President and CEO

Rick is responsible for developing the company’s strategic direction, profitability and growth plans. He directly oversees the team responsible for day-to-day operations of the company.

Rick has nearly 20 years of senior management experience in the telecom industry. Prior to joining Telovations, he was a top executive with Expanets, a billion-dollar provider of Avaya and Cisco voice and data systems. He has also been involved with the successful start-up of three other technology companies: NBX, SecureLogix, and Sonexis. NBX was the first company to develop and deliver an IP-PBX for the mid-enterprise customer and was acquired by 3Com in 1999. Rick has also built a distribution joint-venture with AT&T and an acquisition by Lucent Technologies.

 

Mark Swanson — Chairman and Chief Technology Officer

Mark is responsible for overall strategic technology direction and R&D for the company.

Mark has over 20 years management experience in technology related organizations. He has founded and served as President/CEO of two IT services companies, both of which were successfully acquired by larger companies. He has also served as executive vice president and chief technology officer for iXL, helping to take the company public in 1999. Mark has a BS in computer engineering from West Point and an MS in technology from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

 

Kevin Donald – Chief Financial Officer

Kevin is responsible for maintaining Telovation’s financial and administrative functions.

Kevin has over twenty years of finance and accounting experience in large, mid-sized and entrepreneurial businesses. Kevin's career includes over nine years in the telecommunications and Internet industries, working at a CLEC (competitive local exchange carrier) and at application service providers. Kevin is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Masters in Commerce (Finance and Accounting) from the University of Sydney in Australia.

 

Mark T. Falk - Vice President of Sales

Mark is responsible for the overall development and implementation of our direct sales and enterprise division, as well as, our National Partner Programs.

Mark has over 20 years of senior management experience in both the Telecommunications and Alarm system industries. Prior to joining Telovations, he was involved in the telecommunications industry for over 15 years building channel partnerships throughout the United States. Mark has served as Vice President of Sales for several technology start-up companies including NBX Corporation, (developer of the first IP-PBX for the mid-enterprise customer), Sonexis, and also as National Sales Director for an AT&T joint-venture company. During the 1980’s, Mark was responsible for the restructuring and overall direction of many ADT Security Systems branch offices throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast Regions, including one of the founding locations in Baltimore, MD.

 

Doug Knight — Vice President of Product Management

Doug oversees daily operation of our network, customer care, and customer engineering functions.

Doug has more than 20 years of telecommunications experience. Prior to joining Telovations, he was director of product management at Boston-based Pingtel Corp., where he was instrumental in developing the company’s overall product and service strategy. He also has held senior product management positions at several start-up technology companies, including NBX and Sonexis.

 

Katie Gonzalez – Director of Marketing

Katie is responsible for all marketing efforts, including marketing communications and product marketing.

Katie has served in several marketing capacities in technology-related industries, most notably at Danka Office Imaging in software product marketing. She was also responsible for the marketing communications activities at Danka and other companies. Katie has an ABJ in advertising from the University of Georgia.
